North American Counter-Strike team Splyce has announced the release of two players, David "DAVEY" Stafford and Enkhtaivan "Machinegun" Lkhagva, following a failed qualification bid for ELeague America's Minor.

Since adding Machinegun, Asger "AcilioN" Larsen, and Joey "CRUC1AL" Steusel in July and moving to a team house in Los Angeles shortly after, the team has failed to produce results domestically, unable to qualify for several international tournaments, as well as ELeague Season 2.

DAVEY initially joined the team after Splyce acquired former 3sUP's Counter-Strike team, then known as DOGMEN, at the end of December 2015. Splyce did not indicate who will replace DAVEY or Machinegun, or what the future holds for either player. However, in the ELeague America's Minor qualifiers, the team used former OpTic Gaming in-game leader Damian "daps" Steele. The team did not say if it will continue to use daps or sign him to a permanent contract.
