Natus Vincere captain and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive veteran Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko will retire after this weekend's BLAST Pro Series Moscow event.

The Ukrainian veteran previously announced that he planned to call it quits sometime in 2019.

Zeus made the announcement Monday, just days after Na'Vi were eliminated in the quarterfinals of the StarLadder Major in Berlin.

"I realize I need to give way to the youth," he said through the team's website. "It's rough, honestly: I have devoted 20 years of my life to Counter-Strike, and it's about time to wrap it up. I want to thank everyone who was with me all this time, cheered for me and believed in me."

The Natus Vincere lineup following Zeus' retirement will consist of Egor "flamie" Vasilyev, Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, Denis "electronic" Sharipov, Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov and coach MIkhaylo "Kane" Blagin.
