T1 and G2 Esports each won again on Tuesday to move to 3-0 and remain the only unbeaten teams halfway through the group stage of the League of Legends World Championship.
The event features 16 teams divided into four groups for a double round robin of single-game matches. The top two teams in each group will advance to the best-of-five quarterfinals, which run Oct. 25-27. The best-of-five semifinals are scheduled for Nov. 2-3, with the best-of-five final to be held Nov. 10.
The championship team will receive 37.5 percent of the prize pool, set at a minimum of $2,225,000. The runner-up will get 13.5 percent of the prize pool.
The first round robin was completed Tuesday, with six matches involving Groups A, B and C. T1 beat Clutch Gaming to remain atop Group C and drop Clutch to 0-3. G2 did the same to Hong Kong Attitude in Group A.
Elsewhere in Group A, Griffin beat Cloud9 to take a one-game lead for second place.
In Group B, where every team began the day at 1-1, FunPlus Phoenix took down GAM Esports, while J Team beat Splyce.
In Group C's other match, Royal Never Give Up beat Fnatic in a battle of previously 1-1 teams.
Group D was idle.
No matches will be played Wednesday, and the Thursday schedule consists entirely of Group B's second round robin. Group A will play its second round robin on Friday, with Group C on Saturday and Group D on Sunday.
