Paris Eternal sign Sp9rk1e, announce coaching changes

Paris Eternal made sweeping changes ahead of the 2020 season Thursday, signing Kim "Sp9rk1e" Yeong-han and naming Yun "Rush" Hee-Won as head coach.

The Overwatch League team also announced the additions of assistant coaches Jeong "Levi" Chung-Hyeok and Go "Aid" Jae-Yoon.

Rush and Sp9rk1e both join the team from Contenders Korea squad Element Mystic. Levi also coached with Element Mystic before serving as an assistant coach with the Shanghai Dragons. Aid most recently played with Toronto Defiant before announcing his retirement earlier this month.

Each member of the newly signed quartet got into the French spirit by opening their announcements on Twitter the same way: "Bonjour."

"I'm going to show you the best at Paris Eternal with good coaches and players, and I'm going to try to make Paris Eternal the best team. Merci," tweeted the 17-year-old Sp9rk1e.
