Team SoloMid and Counter Logic Gaming are finalizing a trade that will see the two teams swap supports, with Vincent "Biofrost" Wang returning to TSM in return for Andy "Smoothie" Ta, league sources told ESPN.

The deal is expected to be completed on Monday evening, when the global League of Legends free-agency window opens at 7 ET, or shortly thereafter, sources said.

It will be the first of a couple of moves for TSM, who are also seeking a new AD carry and jungler during the offseason, according to sources. Meanwhile, Counter Logic Gaming are expected to make minimal changes to their logic, sources said; CLG's only starter with an expiring contract is mid laner Tristan "PowerofEvil" Schrage.

Biofrost returns to Team SoloMid after two seasons under Counter Logic Gaming. During his time on TSM, he won three consecutive League Championship Series titles and competed at the 2016 and 2017 League of Legends World Championships in the United States and China.

After worlds 2017, Biofrost and then-TSM AD carry Yiliang "Doublelift" Peng were replaced by previous G2 Esports duo Jesper "Zven" Svenningsen and Alfonso "mithy" Aguirre Rodríguez. Team SoloMid have not qualified for the world championship since.

In October, Team SoloMid reached a two-year contract extension with longtime mid laner Søren "Bjergsen" Bjerg, which granted that player an equity stake in what's widely considered to be one of esports' most valuable franchises. The team also has top laner Sergen "Broken Blade" Çelik under contract until the end of the 2021 season.
