DragonX revealed their 2020 roster on Monday featuring former Griffin teammates mid laner Jeong "Chovy" Ji-hoon and top laner Choi "Doran" Hyeon-joon.

They will be joined by support Ryu "Keria" Min-seok and jungler Hong "Pyosik" Chang-hyeon, who have been promoted to the team's main roster. Kim "Deft" Hyuk-kyu is the only returning player from DragonX's 2019 roster.

Chovy and Doran reportedly turn down offers to join former Griffin coach Kim "cvMax" Dae-ho with Evil Geniuses, and cvMax will now join DragonX, according to multiple reports.

Chovy, 18, reportedly was offered a multi-million deal by EG, who in turn signed European mid laner Daniele "Jiizuke" di Mauro. Doran spent some of the Summer split in a starting position, but was replaced by Choi "Sword" Sung-won at Worlds 2019.

Griffin finished second in the LCK Summer split before losing to Invictus Gaming in the quarterfinals of Worlds. The entire roster was released into free agency last month with parent company Still8 apologizing for "unfair contracts" amid controversy surrounding their owner and coach.

Former Griffin support Si-woo "Lehends" Son joined Hanwha Life Esports on Monday.

Chovy, Doran and Deft provide the veteran presence for the new DragonX roster, while Keria and Pyosik join with little competitive experience but strong reputations in the solo queue scene.

Keria and Deft have been longtime duo partners.
