The Atlanta FaZe's Chris "Simp" Lehr set another Hardpoint kill record on Sunday against the Seattle Surge, breaking the mark he set just days ago in the FaZe's match against the London Royal Ravens. On a 250-179 Azhir Cave Hardpoint win, Simp put up a cool 50 kills, one more than his previous record of 49, also on Azhir Cave. The Atlanta FaZe beat the Seattle Surge 3-1 and will now face either the Dallas Empire or Chicago Huntsmen in this weekend's finals match.

On Friday, Simp scored 49 kills in a 250-234 Map 1 victory. The Atlanta FaZe later swept the Royal Ravens 3-0 with a 6-5 Search and Destroy win on Arklov Peak and a 166-149 Domination win on Hackney Yard.

The previous record before this weekend was 45 kills, put up by the Chicago Huntsmen's Seth "Scump" Abner against the Paris Legion during the Dallas Empire home series on April 10.

Simp came up with eUnited last year and has been a rising star since. With eUnited, he won the 2019 Call of Duty World League Championship and more recently won the 2020 Atlanta FaZe home series with the FaZe.

Going into the Friday series against London, Simp held the highest Hardpoint K/D in the league at 3.25.
