Last week, the NFL's trade deadline passed with little more than a murmur. Two deals went down on the day of the deadline, with the Dolphins shipping wide receiver Isaiah Ford to the Patriots and later acquiring running back DeAndre Washington from the Chiefs. Roster tinkering, not roster altering.
But that doesn't mean that your ESPN Fantasy trade deadline has to mimic the limited trade movement on the day of the deadline! Part of what makes fantasy football so enjoyable is trading -- heck, even the process of negotiating a trade can be enjoyable (or sometimes an absolute slog). Whether it's a swap of stars, a two-for-one maneuver or an all-out blockbuster that reshapes both rosters involved, trades are unquestionably one of the enjoyable parts of fantasy football.
So here's a reminder: The fantasy football trade deadline is just over two weeks away (depending on when you are reading this), Nov. 25 at noon ET.
If you're wondering when the time is to start making those offers that you hope will push you past the goal line before the deadline, the answer is: now. It's always a good time to propose a trade.
