Can Bielsa's lagging Leeds bounce back at Brentford?

We enjoyed a profitable weekend including two 5/2 winners in the shape of Inter Milan and Nottingham Forest. This week sees cup action from France, Spain and Italy as well as a full round of fixtures in the Championship.

Running total: -£48.92

The Banker

Leeds' faltering promotion push could take another knock this week when they travel to Brentford in the Championship. Leeds have taken just nine points from a possible 30 since mid-December and lost 2-0 to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

Argentine coach Marcelo Bielsa said in the wake of that Forest defeat that the responsibility for their poor recent form lies with himself rather than his players, but something is clearly amiss with the Yorkshire giants and Brentford look a big price on Tuesday at 29/20 with bet365.

The Bees saw off Middlesbrough 3-2 at the weekend and know a win would take them above Leeds. That should be all the motivation Thomas Frank's side need to claim another big win at Griffin Park.

Selection: £4 on Brentford to win at 29/20 with bet365.

The Tasty Treble

PSG are 12 points clear of the pack in Ligue 1 and scoring goals for fun. They travel to Dijon in the Coupe de France on Wednesday and will have revenge in mind. Dijon beat Thomas Tuchel's side in the league earlier this season but we don't expect lightning to strike twice and the 13/8 on offer about PSG winning and both teams scoring looks decent.

In the same competition Marseille look big at 5/2 to win away at Lyon. Rudi Garcia took over at Lyon last October but it's been a poor season for Les Gones, who are languishing in ninth in the table and in real danger of missing out on Champions League qualification. Marseille meanwhile are second in Ligue 1 and are decent on their travels, having claimed 22 points from 12 away games this season.

Finally add in Athletic Bilbao at 3/4 to beat Granada in the Copa del Rey. At San Mames Bilbao are always a tough proposition, as they proved in the quarterfinals. A 94th-minute goal from Inaki Williams defeated Barcelona and they should have enough to see off Granada here.

Selection: £3 on the treble at 15.07/1 with bet365.

The Euro Wager

Plucky Mirandes, who have never played in La Liga, have arguably been the story of this season's Copa del Rey. The club from Miranda de Ebro, a city of about 35,000 people in northern Spain, had already stunned Sevilla and Celta Vigo before pulling off another upset last time out to eliminate Villarreal in the quarterfinals.

They face Real Sociedad in the semifinal first leg on Thursday night and we fancy both teams to score at odds against. Sociedad are a club who like to play on the front foot while Mirandes hit four against Villarreal so goals should not be in short supply at the Anoeta Stadium.

Selection: £4 on both teams to score at 21/20 with bet365.

The Wildcard Tip

West Brom are now 6/4 favourites with bet365 to win the Championship and travel to Reading on Wednesday evening. The Baggies made light of some horrendous weather conditions to beat Millwall on Sunday and are favourites to win at the Madejski Stadium. They've taken an impressive 32 points from 16 away games so far and a small wager on Slaven Bilic's team to win 2-1 at 8/1 could be the play here.

Selection: £1 on West Brom to win 2-1 at 8/1 with bet365.
