Coronavirus lockdown: Bendtner goes fishing, Neymar's dog defenders and Cantona's message

With many training grounds off-limits, clubs have sent footballers home, where they're adhering to an isolation period for the next few weeks. How are they passing the time?

1. Eric Cantona

"The King" isn't allowing his kids to go without their daily exercise, with the Manchester United legend putting his family through their paces at home.

With various training apparatus laid out on the floor, Cantona turned drill sergeant as he barked out orders before turning to the camera and addressing his Instagram followers with a motivational message.

"I hope all of you are good. Your family, your friends, all good," the Frenchman growled, before imploring everybody to stay safe and keep fit during quarantine.

2. Neymar

Without any human opposition to train against, Neymar was forced to press his dogs into action as impromptu defenders while the PSG star enjoyed a kickabout in the back garden.

3. Nicklas Bendtner

As you might expect, former Arsenal striker Bendtner is self-quarantining in style back home in Copenhagen by dabbling in a spot of lake fishing with a huge cigar on the go.

4. Roberto Firmino

Liverpool striker Firmino worked up quite a sweat while attempting to maintain his fitness by putting in some serious mileage on his treadmill.

5. Benjamin Mendy

Man City's Mendy is staying active by teaching himself new dance routines while wearing almost every single item of training wear he owns.

6. Virgil van Dijk

Liverpool fan Ben Price received a surprise video call from the club's defender Van Dijk, who got in touch after hearing that Price was going through a tough time while being forced to isolate separately from his pregnant wife.
