1. Luis Suarez (Barcelona)
The Uruguayan delivered two goals and an assist in Barcelona's 5-0 dismantling of crosstown rivals Espanyol, helping secure three points that could prove crucial, as Real Madrid's surge has them just a point behind. Suarez's double took him to 37 Liga goals this campaign, four in front of Cristiano Ronaldo in the Pichichi race, and his assist keeps him tied with Lionel Messi at the of the league.
2. Alexandre Lacazette (Lyon)
On the second-to-last matchday of the 2015-16 Ligue 1 season, Lacazette scored his first hat trick of the campaign in Lyon's 6-1 humiliation of Monaco. The result all but assures Lyon second place in Ligue 1, now three points clear of the third-placed Monegasques and with a plus-25 cushion in goal differential. After a woeful first half of the campaign, the 24-year-old has turned it on this spring, scoring 11 goals in his past nine appearances.
3. Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid)
The Portugeuse proved the difference in Real Madrid's hard-fought 3-2 win over Valencia on Sunday, scoring a double that keeps Los Blancos within a point of La Liga-leading Barcelona entering the season's final matchday. After missing three matches with a thigh injury, and trudging though another vs. Manchester City, Ronaldo looked as fit and in form as at any point this season vs. Los Che.
4. Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich)
As you might've expected this season, Lewandowski scored the goals that clinched Bayern's fourth straight Bundesliga title (a club record), netting both tallies in the Bavarians' 2-1 win over Ingolstadt. The Pole has now struck 40 times in all competitions this term and has 29 goals in the league, four more than second-placed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Will Lewandowski reach the Bundesliga's mythical 30-goal mark? With four goals in his past three league appearances, his form suggests he just might.
5. Edinson Cavani (Paris Saint-Germain)
It's been a trying 2015-16 for Cavani, but he's begun to show signs of life since PSG wrapped up their fourth successive Ligue 1 crown. He scored a hat trick in the 4-1 win over relegation-threatened Ajaccio on Saturday, bringing his tally in his past six league appearances to seven goals and three assists. The Uruguayan is rounding into form just in time for this summer's Copa America Centenario.
6. Jamie Vardy (Leicester City)
After clinching the Premier League title last week, Vardy finally got to have his party, and he celebrated with a brace in Leicester's 3-1 win over Everton on Saturday. The Englishman narrowly missed a hat trick, ballooning a penalty over Joel Robles' bar, which would have brought him level with Harry Kane as the league's leading scorer.
7. Lionel Messi (Barcelona)
The Argentine has recovered from Barcelona's spring swoon (in which they lost four of five in April), registering four goals and six assists in his last five appearances, including one of each in the 5-0 win over Espanyol on Sunday. Not that the Catalans have needed the artistry of "La Pulga" in recent weeks, outscoring their opponents 22-2 in that stretch.
8. Isaac Cuenca (Granada)
Cuenca has made just 11 appearances this season for Granada, and he made his latest one count. Against a heavily rotated Sevilla side, the former Barcelona man scored two goals and an assist in Granada's surprise 4-1 win, assuring the relegation-threatened Andalusian side of La Liga football in 2016-17.
9. Steven Davis (Southampton)
Davis doubled his Premier League goals tally on Sunday, netting twice in Southampton's comeback 2-1 win over Tottenham. The strikes were the Northern Irishman's first for Saints since Nov. 1, and they proved hugely valuable, too, pushing the South Coast club above West Ham in the table and on course for a second successive Europa League berth.
10. Luuk de Jong (PSV Eindhoven)
Heading into the Eredivisie's final day of the season, PSV's destiny was out of their own hands. As league-leading Ajax coughed up a lead and two points vs. 17th-placed De Graafschap, captain De Jong tallied a brace (his 26th goal in 32 league appearances this season) to lead PSV to a 3-1 win over PEC Zwolle and an Eredivisie title.
