TOP STORY: United want Eriksen as rebuild begins
As speculation grows about who might arrive at Manchester United in this summer, the London Evening Standard reports that United have put Spurs playmaker Christian Eriksen at the heart of their rebuilding plans, while the Telegraph says Everton's Richarlison is a target.
Eriksen has just over a year of his contract to run and has yet to agree another, although Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has said he is optimistic that talks will succeed.
The Standard says United "are aware of the difficulty in negotiating with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy but have been encouraged by Eriksen's reluctance to sign."
It adds that Levy would prefer to sell Eriksen to a club such as Real Madrid rather than a Premier League rival and would "demand more than £60 million" for the Denmark international, who cost the club £11m when he arrived in 2013.
Meanwhile, the Sun reports that Barcelona are planning a £100m swoop for United's Marcus Rashford.
England forward Rashford is reportedly unwilling to sign a new deal, with his contract up in summer 2020, and that could see Barca launch a bid for a player who might move on if Champions League football is not delivered sooner rather than later.

21.56 BST: If Chelsea's transfer ban is upheld, there is one loophole that could see them add a midfielder this summer, technically speaking. The Mirror reports that Real Madrid have offered the Blues Mateo Kovacic on loan for another season, with an obligation to purchase the 24-year-old for £26m following the 2019-20 season.
20.19 BST: The race for Nicolas Pepe has officially begun, with Get French Football News citing L'Equipe as reporting that Inter have submitted the first formal bid for the Ivory Coast international, offering Lille €70m for the 23-year-old.
18.42 BST: The top brass at Atletico Madrid have grown tired of Diego Costa's antics and intend to sell him for whatever they can get for him this summer, according to Mundo Deportivo. The report states that Diego Simeone still wants Costa, but the hierarchy have made up their mind, and will move the 30-year-old to the highest bidder.
17.05 BST: Tottenham want to sign Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo, who would cost around £35m, and Aston Villa's Jack Grealish, with whom they were also linked last summer, according the Mail. Crystal Palace could also be ready to bid for Grealish, the report adds.
16.32 BST: RMC Sport reports that Paris Saint-Germain have agreed a deal with Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera -- and if that's the case, Athletic Bilbao's hopes of signing him are over.
15.51 BST: Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson has said star man Wilfried Zaha, reported to be interesting a number of clubs, could be on his way in the summer. 'I'm not ruling out the fact that something like that could come up when we sit down -- it would be wrong to do that,' Hodgson told a news conference.
"The point is that no one at the club has really got any interest in selling Wilf Zaha, so we're rather hoping that we won't get those offers. But I'm realistic."
14.33 BST: Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck
13.49 BST: Sky Sports reports that Fulham's Ryan Sessegnon, who has been linked with Tottenham, has not committed his future to the relegated club. Sessesgnon, under contract until next year, is quoted as saying: "I'm still a Fulham player and, in terms of that, that's all I can say at the moment."
12.57 BST: Mohamed Diame, out of contract in the summer, has said he could leave Newcastle as he waits to see whether the club will give him a one-year contract extension. "I've always said I'm happy here playing for this club and these fans," Sky reported him as saying. "But this is football and you have to deal with it."
12.25 BST: Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is looking ahead to the summer and wants to sign 20-year-old winger Jake Hastie from Motherwell. "It's no secret that there's an interest there," he told reporters. "But until we get it complete there's nothing really to say."
11.57 BST: Ole Gunnar Soksjaer has said he believes midfielder Paul Pogba, linked with a move to Real Madrid, will still be at Old Trafford next season.
Solskjaer, who has spoken of his desire to build his new-look team around Pogba, told a news conference: "You can't guarantee anything in football but yes, I think Paul's going to be here. I can assure you he's very determined to succeed at Man United."
11.10 BST: Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is concentrating on the here and now rather than looking ahead to the summer window. He told a news conference: "We haven't formulated any plans regarding transfer targets or anyone towards next year -- we're firmly looking at this season. I'll have conversations with the owner and respective people at the club towards the close of the season where we'll formulate our plans."
10.41 BST: And more -- RMC Sport reports that Athletic Bilbao have complicated PSG's pursuit of Ander Herrera by making an offer for the Manchester United midfielder.
10.04 BST: More from Manchester United now, and reports suggest that defender Eric Bailly could be on his way to Arsenal. Bailly has not played for United since the Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain and has been linked with the Gunners in the past.
09.20 BST: Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde has said he wants to stay at the club next season. The Uruguay international, who has made 23 appearances for Madrid this season, told Onda Cero radio: "Those who want to leave Real Madrid have something wrong in their head. If they give me the opportunity of staying, I will remain."
08.40 BST: Portuguese outlet A Bola has published a list of Juventus players the Serie A champions are willing to include as part of the deal to bring rising Benfica star Joao Felix to Turin.
Juventus are among the clubs keen to sign the 19-year-old attacking midfielder, but Benfica insisted this week they have no intention of selling any of their stars, including Felix, this summer. The player has a €120m release clause and although Juve are reportedly willing to play only €70m they would also add several of their players to the deal.
Among the players Juventus are willing to include are Brazilian left-back Rogerio, on loan at Sassuolo. The 21-year-old was a reported target for Chelsea, Wolves and Newcastle in the winter window, but Juve's asking price of €20m was considered too high.
Joao Serrao is a 19-year-old central defender who joined Juve at 16 from FC Porto. Brazilian right-back Lucas Rosa is 20 and joined Juve last summer from Palmeiras. Lke Serrao, he plays for the reserves. Also on the list is Matheus Pereira, a 21-year-old Brazilian winger.
08.00 BST: Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has said it would be "a dream" to play in Serie A but revealed that he had previously turned down the opportunity to join Juventus.
Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, the 25-year-old said he has no regrets about rejecting the chance to move to Turin when he left Chelsea for Everton in 2014, but a move to Italy does still appeal to him.
"Playing in Serie A is a dream for me, it would really be a dream," he said. "I hope I can play there sooner or later, although I'm focused on the present, which is at United and trying to finish fourth.
"When I decided to leave Chelsea, I had the chance to go to Juventus. I don't know why, but I just didn't feel like it -- something didn't convince me."

Living the Vida Loca ... at Molineux?
They got one over on Arsenal at Molineux on Wednesday -- and now it looks as though Wolves might beat the North Londoners in the race for a player long identified as an answer to the Gunners' defensive woes.
Turkish outlet Sporx says Wolves want to bring Domagoj Vida in from Besiktas for £13m. The Croatia international was a mainstay of the side that reached the World Cup final, and is under contract until 2022.
Arsenal had been front-runners for his signature, and almost landed him last summer when a deal fell through after Besiktas insisted on David Ospina moving in the opposite direction.

- Leicester are reportedly lining up a bid for prolific Atalanta striker Andrea Petagna. The Guardian reports that the on-loan SPAL striker could be playing his football at the King Power should Leicester come up with €20m.
- According to Dutch outlet De Telegraaf, Club America star Edson Alvarez may be the next Mexican to join Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven.
