Bayern Munich recovered from a limp start to brush past Hoffenheim 5-2 after the visitors had the temerity to take a 2-0 lead only 11 minutes into the match on goals from Mark Uth and Serge Gnabry.
But Bayern drew level within 13 minutes through Robert Lewandowski and Jerome Boateng, before sealing the three points with second-half goals from Kingsley Coman, Arturo Vidal and substitute Sandro Wagner's first ever Bundesliga strike for Bayern.

A sixth consecutive Bundesliga title remains a mere formality, maintaining their 16-point advantage despite giving Hoffenheim a two-goal start, during which future Bayern winger Gnabry impressed as part of a blistering opening spell.
Negatives
Conceding twice for the second straight game, Bayern's defence looked anything but secure, while Hoffenheim will rue a missed opportunity to make it 3-0 on the counter-attack.

8 -- Bayern continued their "charm offensive" to convince the 72-year-old Jupp Heynckes to stay on beyond the summer after racking up win No. 18 out of 19 in his fourth spell in charge. Up against the man many believe will coach Bayern one day, Heynckes easily got the better of Hoffenheim's Julian Nagelsmann -- 42 years his junior or 15,415 days to be precise -- the biggest coaching age difference in the history of the Bundesliga.

GK Sven Ulreich, 6 -- Made a fine save from Gnabry's third-minute penalty but Uth was in the right place for the rebound. Ulreich didn't have a lot to do otherwise -- apart from pick the ball out of the net twice in the opening 20 minutes.
DF David Alaba, 7 -- Farmed out on loan to Hoffenheim during Louis van Gaal's ill-feted reign, Alaba enjoyed a busy first half, testing Oliver Baumann in the opening minute with a rasping shot and even firing a right footed effort just wide -- a collector's item.
DF Jerome Boateng, 7 -- Boateng couldn't miss in the 25th minute as Baumann inexplicably staying glued to his line when he could easily have dealt with Arjen Robben's inswinging corner. The former Manchester City defender didn't need a second invitation to nod in the equaliser and his first Bundesliga goal since 2013.
DF Niklas Sule, 6 -- Bayern's summer signing from Hoffenheim didn't catch the eye against his former side. It seems inevitable that Mats Hummels will return alongside Boateng when the business end of the season arrives.
DF Joshua Kimmich, 6 -- Top quality going forward but still prone to the odd defensive lapse, bringing down his future teammate Gnabry for the penalty. He's no Philipp Lahm in defence, but Kimmich is a much better crosser.
MF Sebastian Rudy, 5 -- Failed to impress against his former side on a freezing afternoon in Munich.
MF Arturo Vidal, 7 -- Vidal will probably leave in the summer when Germany midfielder Leon Goretzka arrives, but if this is the case, Bayern's top scorer behind Lewandowski, is going out with a bang, heading in a Robben corner at 66 minutes for his sixth league goal of the season.
MF Corentin Tolisso, 6 -- Bayern's record signing was ineffective during his first start of the year and Muller replaced him just after the hour mark.
MF Kingsley Coman, 8 -- His pace and panache caused Hoffenheim problems all afternoon and the Frenchman got the goal his efforts deserved, slotting home at 63 minutes for a 3-2 lead that Bayern never looked like relinquishing.
MF Arjen Robben, 6 -- The Dutch master is not yet up to speed yet but still laid on two headers from his fiercely whipped in corners.
FW Robert Lewandowski, 7 -- Now scored in 10 league home games in succession -- reducing the arrears at 1-2 from a Kimmich shot and providing the assist for Coman's decisive 3-2 with an inch-perfect pass.

MF Thomas Muller, 6 -- Came on for the ineffective Tolisso immediately following Coman's go-ahead goal.
DF Rafinha, N/R -- Replaced captain Robben for the final 13 minutes and provided an assist for Bayern's final goal.
