Eighteen-time winners Bayern Munich cruised into the DFB Pokal semifinals with a comfortable 6-0 victory over third division leaders Paderborn, courtesy of goals from Kingsley Coman, Robert Lewandowski, Joshua Kimmich, Corentin Tolisso and a brace from Arjen Robben in the final five minutes.

Treble-seeking Bayern sealed a ninth consecutive last-four appearance by easily seeing off the challenge of plucky minnows Paderborn.

9 -- Racking up 20 wins in 21 games (if you include the penalty shootout success in Leipzig) Jupp Heynckes has transformed Bayern's fortunes and can harbour genuine hopes of the treble in his fourth spell in charge.

GK Sven Ulreich, 6 -- Ulreich was a virtual spectator and hardly tested, entirely predictable against third-tier opposition. When he was beaten after a sizzling shot from Ben Zolinski, Ulreich's clean sheet was saved by the post.
DF David Alaba, 7 -- Benched against Mainz but put in the standard effortlessly composed display at left-back. There was some concern when he limped off with a quarter of an hour to play, but after brief treatment from club Doctor Hans-Wilhelm Muller-Wohlfahrt, Alaba was soon fit to continue.
DF Niklas Sule, 6 -- Rested against Mainz but restored to the starting lineup due to Jerome Boateng's stomach illness. The summer signing from Hoffenheim put in a sound display but stiffer tests lie ahead in the coming weeks.
DF Mats Hummels, 8 -- Hardly tested defensively but did manage to pick up a yellow card for a shirt pull, before producing a stunning raking ball with the outside of his boot to set up Kimmich for the third goal. The 2014 World Cup winner has enjoyed a good week, reaching two million twitter followers too.
DF Joshua Kimmich, 7 -- Rested against Mainz in the Bundesliga but full of running on the right, producing a cool finish for the third goal after Hummels' humdinger of a pass.
MF Arturo Vidal, 6 -- Recovered from a stomach bug to coast through the game in defensive midfield but picked up a predictable yellow card after a couple of needless fouls midway through the second half.
MF Kingsley Coman, 8 -- The French youngster replaced Franck Ribery, 13 years his senior, in the starting XI, breaking the deadlock on 19 minutes from close range. He turned provider with a neat pass to Lewy six minutes later and showed why, if fit, he will start the forthcoming Champions League games ahead of Ribery.
MF James Rodriguez, 8 -- The Colombia international continues to impress with yet another inventive display, again at the heart of Bayern's best work. James' left foot is a real weapon and Tolisso took advantage by nodding home a typically fierce delivery from a corner, before the playmaker enjoyed a deserved breather at 4-0 on 67 minutes.
MF Arjen Robben, 7 -- Robben miskicked when well placed with his weaker right foot but Coman mopped up to break the deadlock. Saw a better effort on the hour tipped over the bar, but scored twice in the final five minutes to end the game well, the first the pick of the pair with a typical left-footed curling finish into the top corner. You might have seen this goal before -- about 200 times, cutting in from the right onto his stronger left foot with the rest history.
MF Thomas Muller, 6 -- Played his part in setting up the opening goal but after colliding with the goalkeeper, Muller left the field just after the half hour mark. However, Heynckes confirmed it was nothing serious and a purely precautionary substitution after his captain suffered bruising to this thigh.
FW Robert Lewandowski, 7 -- Given a breather in the Bundesliga at the weekend but tested the Paderborn keeper Michael Ratajczak as early as the third minute with a header. He got his 25th goal of the season in all comps with a typically composed finish to double the lead.
Substitutes
MF Corentin Tolisso, 7 -- Bayern's record signing replaced the injured Muller just after the half hour and provided more evidence of his aerial power with a bullet-header on 55 minutes from a whipped in corner from James. Four of his six goals this season have come via his head.
MF Sebastian Rudy, 6 - Replaced James after 66 minutes and set up Robben's first goal with a deft pass.
MF Franck Ribery, NR -- Replaced his younger compatriot Coman for the final nine minutes, but still had time to set up his veteran wing partner Robben for the final goal of the evening.
