Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said he will speak to winger Harvey Elliott after he was contacted by the Football Association (FA) for holding a red flare following the side's Carabao Cup victory on Sunday.
Elliott came on as a second-half substitute and slotted home Liverpool's ninth penalty in the shootout. He was photographed holding a flare in the midst of the celebrations.

Pyrotechnics are banned from football stadiums in England.
Klopp said the incident was a "mistake" from the 18-year-old Elliott and promised the player will "never do it again."
"I haven't spoken to Harvey yet. Will I speak to him? Yes, maybe," Klopp told a news conference on Tuesday.
"Harvey is a very young man on the pitch, and also I think he's still a little bit more a boy. That's not a problem. It was a mistake. All because of the role model role we have, as people working in public, I understand 100% I will tell him. I can promise he will not do it again. Do I think was the worst thing that ever happened in world football? No.
"I understand 100% why it is not okay... the best thing about making a mistake is you don't do it again."
Liverpool claimed the Carabao Cup trophy for a record ninth time after beating Chelsea 11-10 in an epic penalty shootout.
The FA have written to Elliott for observations of the incident.
The winger was not originally in Klopp's match-day squad, and was added to the bench after Thiago Alcantara was injured in the warm-up.
The final ended 0-0 after a gruelling 120 minutes, with four goals being ruled out for offside in a match defined by missed opportunities and VAR controversies.
After 20 successful penalties, Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher stepped up to make it 11-10 before his opposite number Kepa Arrizabalaga, who was brought on in the 119th minute, smashed his spot kick high over the bar.
