Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has signed a new long-term contract, the club announced on Friday.
Gundogan, 24, has put pen to paper on a four-year deal that will keep him at City until at least 2023.

Sources had told ESPN FC the Germany international was prepared to commit his long-term future to the club despite his contract running out in 12 months' time.
"I am very happy to have signed the new contract," he told the club's website. "I have hugely enjoyed the last three years here at City and everyone at the club has helped make me feel at home from my very first day.
"It's a privilege to be a part of this team, playing the style of football we do and winning trophies. It's very difficult to do that and I'm delighted to be a part of it."
Gundogan joined City from Borussia Dortmund in 2016 and has won back-to-back Premier League titles under manager Pep Guardiola.
The midfielder played 41 times in all competitions last season, helping the club achieve an unprecedented domestic Treble for the first time in the history of the men's game.
Gundogan faces added competition in midfield this season after City spent a club record fee of €70m to buy Rodri from Atletico Madrid.
City kick off their Premier League title defence against West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday.
