Juventus have acquired the full sporting rights of Italian midfielder Stefano Sturaro from Genoa, the Serie A champions announced on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the Turin giants and as part of the agreement, Sturaro will play on loan at Genoa next season.
A statement from Juventus read: "Juventus Football Club can today confirm the signing of Stefano Sturaro from Genoa C.F.C. for an initial fee of 5.5 million euros (4.4 million pounds) to be paid over three years."
Sturaro, who came through Genoa's youth ranks, scored one goal in 16 league appearances for the Grifoni last season -- his maiden Serie A campaign -- as the club finished 14th in the standings.
