Hellas Verona have announced the signing of Javier Saviola from Olympiacos via Twitter.
The 32-year-old former Barcelona, Real Madrid and Benfica forward is due to arrive in Italy on Tuesday morning and will sign for Verona should he successfully pass a medical.
Saviola scored 12 goals in 25 games for the Greek club last season after arriving on a free transfer from Malaga. He also played five times in the Champions League, scoring two goals.
No details have been released about the size of the transfer fee, although he is likely to make the move for free having not cost Olympiakos a cent a year ago.
