The 27-year-old forward scored two goals in 13 Serie A appearances following his January move to the Stadio Olimpico, but now returns to former club CSKA on a season-long loan deal.
A statement published on Roma's official website confirmed the Ivorian's switch to the Arena Khimki, where he previously spent five years following a 2010 transfer from Young Boys.
