Jakub Blaszczykowski has joined Fiorentina on a season-long loan from Borussia Dortmund, the Bundesliga club have announced.
The 29-year-old midfielder has made 197 Bundesliga appearances for the Westphalians since arriving from Wisla Krakow in 2007 and won the Bundesliga title twice.

"'Kuba is not only a great footballer, but also a wonderful person," said Dortmund's sporting director Michael Zorc on his club's website. "It was important for him in the run up to Euro 2016 to be playing regularly.
"We wish him all the best for his sporting future in Florence and we will be following his progress closely. Kuba has made a name for himself at BVB and celebrated great successes with our club, and he will always remain part of the BVB family."
Dortmund have not given any indication as to whether Fiorentina have secured an option to make the move permanent next summer. With both clubs in the Europa League, there is a possibility that the Polish midfielder will face Dortmund during his loan spell.
