1. Willy Caballero (Manchester City)
As Caballero made missteps in the weeks leading up to the Capital One Cup final, and with No. 1 Joe Hart in fine form, questions arose as to whether Manuel Pellegrini should entrust his No. 2 to backstop Man City to their first silverware of the season. The Argentine proved the doubters wrong on Sunday, though, making three penalty saves in the shootout on top of a fine 120 minutes to secure the League Cup over Liverpool.
2. Marcus Rashford (Manchester United)
Prior to Anthony Martial's injury in warm-ups against FC Midtjylland on Thursday, few could pick Rashford out of a crowd. Two starts later, the 18-year-old now has four senior goals and an assist to his name. His energy and finishing sparked Man United to turn around their Europa League tie with the Danes, and he was the catalyst in a league win over suddenly stumbling Arsenal.
3. Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid)
It had been a February to forget for Griezmann, up until Atletico Madrid's 1-0 win over Real on Saturday. The Frenchman's tireless work rate shown brightly at the Santiago Bernabeu, and his first goal in any competition since Jan. 27 kept Atletico within touching distance (barely) of Barcelona atop the La Liga table, while all but ending the title hopes of Real, who now lie 12 points behind the Catalans.
4. Lionel Messi (Barcelona)
Messi notched just a solitary goal in Barca's 2-1 win over Sevilla on Sunday, but it was a glorious free kick that cancelled out Vitolo's opener. The Argentine was central in pulling the Blaugrana's strings throughout the contest. Sunday's goal was Messi's ninth in seven games played in February.
5. Marko Arnautovic (Stoke City)
Arnautovic netted his eighth and ninth goals of the Premier League season in Stoke's 2-1 win over Aston Villa on Saturday. The Austrian's brace saw the Potters climb to eighth in the English top flight, five points behind fifth-place Manchester United for the final European place.
6. Stephan El Shaarawy (Roma)
In 27 games at Monaco, El Shaarawy scored four goals and two assists -- all coming in the Europa League. Since his January move to Roma, "the Pharaoh" has already equalled his goal-scoring tally from the principality, netting four times in just five Serie A appearances, including a brace in the Romans' 3-1 win over Empoli on Saturday.
7. Leonardo Bonucci (Juventus)
Bonucci's reading of the game, his grit and his tenacity proved invaluable as Juventus' leader of the backline. Giorgio Chiellini limped off after just 30 minutes against Inter. But it was at the other end where Bonucci made the greatest impact, scoring the opener and decisive goal in the Old Lady's 2-0 win over the Milanese side on Sunday.
8. Henrikh Mkhitaryan (Borussia Dortmund)
Mkhitaryan was the Borussia Dortmund's creative impetus on a night in which the Black and Yellows struggled for forward thrust. The Armenian registered a goal and an assist in Dortmund's 3-1 win over Hoffenheim on Sunday, bringing his season tally to nine goals and 10 assist in 22 league appearances.
9. Yunus Malli (Mainz)
In a match that saw Mainz leapfrog their oppnents for fifth place in the Bundesliga table following a 3-1 defeat of Bayer Leverkusen, it was Malli who starred. The Turkish international scored his ninth and 10th league goals of the season, leaving his side out of a Champions League qualifying position only on goal differential.
10. Branislav Ivanovic (Chelsea)
After floundering for much of the first half of the Premier League campaign, Ivanovic has flourished in the heart of Chelsea's defence in the absence of John Terry and Kurt Zouma. The Serb dominated aerial battles against Southampton on Saturday, and his 89th-minute header proved to be decisive in the Blues' 2-1 win.
