United prepare monster Kane bid
Manchester United have identified Harry Kane as a potential trophy signing if a move for Antoine Griezmann fails to materialise, reports the Star.
While the Atletico Madrid forward remains the Red Devils' No. 1 target and his £85 million buy-out clause could be met, Mourinho would like Kane if he fails to acquire the France international.
With Zlatan Ibrahimovic yet to commit to a second season at Old Trafford and Wayne Rooney likely departing, United will need a striker to lessen the burden on Marcus Rashford.
An £80m offer would likely be tabled in a bid to tempt Spurs into selling, despite the 23-year-old recently penning a new five-year contract.

City to raid Spurs for Rose
Spurs will be forced to fend off more interest from rivals with Manchester City eyeing Danny Rose and the Mirror reports that Pep Guardiola sees the England international as the perfect left-back for his side.
Rose's contract runs until 2021 and will fetch a hefty sum given his outstanding run of performances since Spurs challenged for the title last term and the fact that he is in the prime of his career.
The 26-year-old's athleticism and attacking instinct would make him an ideal fit for City, to improve on Gael Clichy and Aleksandar Kolarov. Leaving would still represent a surprise though, given the potential of the side assembled by Mauricio Pochettino.
Shaw offered escape-route by Spurs
If Tottenham do end up losing Rose, then the Mirror believes Luke Shaw is their primary target, having slipped down the pecking order at Manchester United.
Shaw has suffered a tough season and is widely considered to have fallen as far as fourth in Jose Mourinho's list of left-back options.
The 21-year-old is behind Daley Blind, Marcos Rojo and Matteo Darmian, and would be prepared to accept a pay-cut from his £80,000-per-week wages in search of regular first-team football.
Chelsea eye Monaco duo
Chelsea have identified Monaco duo Djibril Sidibe and Thomas Lemar as they prepare to acquire a new left wing-back to provide competition for Marcos Alonso, claims the Telegraph.
The Blues wanted to add strength in depth in January and failed in a move for Schalke's Sead Kolasinac, though Nathan Ake, returning from his loan at Bournemouth, now provides cover for the Spaniard.
Monaco's Sidibe is seen as one potential replacement, with his ability to play on both flanks as a full-back, though Lemar is also a shock option.
The 21-year-old has played in advanced wide areas and even centrally in midfield, but the report suggests Chelsea have an idea to convert him into a left wing-back as Conte perseveres with the 3-4-3 system.
Tap-ins
- West Ham flop Simone Zaza will remain with Valencia for four more years, claims Gazzetta dello Sport, with Juventus taking a €16m fee for the Italian striker.
The Spanish club have paid €2m for a six-month loan and will automatically convert that into a permanent deal if he plays 10 times and Valencia sporting director Jose Ramon Alesanco has confirmed their intention to keep the player long-term.
"Zaza is doing well here," said Alesanco. "He'll have four more years here where we can all enjoy him fulfil his potential."
- Chelsea are set to renew contract talks with Thibaut Courtois, with the Mirror claiming the Blues are eager to extend his deal with just two years remaining from this summer.
The Belgian shot-stopper has been linked with a move back to La Liga, where he starred for Atletico Madrid on loan, but after recapturing his finest form to help Antonio Conte's side top the table, a new deal is now seen as a priority for the Blues.
