It was the wedding of the year, decade, century, or ever, depending on which account you read -- and after a ceremony attended by a galaxy of Barcelona stars, Lionel Messi's honeymoon also had a Camp Nou connection.
As Messi and wife Antonella Roccuzzo relaxed in the Caribbean, who should drop by but Luis Suarez and his family?
Suarez, his wife and children flew out to Antigua, with Messi posting a sun-drenched Instagram photo with the caption: "Surprise visit."
Meanwhile, another old friend, West Ham's Pablo Zabaleta, revealed that every guest at the wedding was given a bottle of Leo Malbec, a wine created to raise money for Messi's charitable foundation. Nice though that is, there was a snag.
Zabaleta told West Ham's official website: "It was a big, big bottle of Malbec which was hard to bring back to England because I had too much stuff in the luggage.
"Of course, I've kept that bottle of wine in Argentina so next time we go back there, I will open it and enjoy a few glasses with the family."
Well, they do say patience is a virtue.
