Nice have completed the signing of Brazilian defender Dante from Wolfsburg.
The 32-year-old had confirmed on Sunday he was poised to reunite with his former Borussia Monchengladbach coach Lucien Favre at the Ligue 1 club, and the deal was announced on Monday evening once the formalities were completed.
The former Lille, Standard Liege and Bayern Munich man has signed a three-year contract, according to sources, despite pledging his future to Wolfsburg earlier this summer.

Speaking on Sunday, Dante said: "I wanted to join Nice because the challenge with the Europa League is really good.
"I have a great deal of respect for Lucien Favre. He helped me a lot during my time in Monchengladbach, while my wife also speaks French.
"I still wanted to stay in Wolfsburg a fortnight ago and I was certain that I would play the season with them at that time, but then a completely different situation arose a short while after,'' added Dante.
