Roma's English account has called out midfielder Steven Nzonzi for retweeting and liking a post calling for him to be named man of the match in the 2-0 win over Empoli.
The World Cup winner scored his first goal for his new club as he opened the scoring on 36 minutes -- heading in from Lorenzo Pellegrini's freekick. But Nzonzi was clearly satisfied with his overall performance and believes it deserves recognition.

After each game, most official club accounts ask fans to vote for their choice of man of the match and their tweet in reference to Nzonzi was both retweeted and liked by the man himself.
Never ones to miss out on the chance for a bit of fun, Roma's English account tweeted screenshots of the sequence of events from their initial post to Nzonzi's response.
Even more intriguing is that the former Sevilla midfielder has never actually tweeted from his account, and this was only his second-ever retweet -- with the other a post about his ranking of third in FIFA 19's most physical players.
