Ajax manager Peter Bosz has confirmed that star midfielder Riechedly Bazoer will leave the club in the January transfer window.
Bazoer, 20, has been left out of the squad for the Europa League game against Standard Liege on Thursday and has also lost his spot in the starting XI under Bosz this season. Having made his debut with the Ajax first team in 2013, the talented youngster has gone on to play more than 60 times for the Dutch Eredivisie giants, scoring seven times in the process.
Speaking to De Telegraaf ahead of Thursday's game, Bosz confirmed the news when he said, "After talks with Riechedly, I assume there is a big chance that he is not with this team anymore after the winter break.
"Against Standard I want to play young players so they can get used to this international level."
Bazoer will have no shortage of suitors with clubs like Barcelona, Liverpool, Arsenal and AC Milan all linked with a move for the Dutch international.
