National administrators Football Malaysia Limited Liability Partnership (FMLLP) have cut in half a six-point deduction for T-Team and Perlis to three points after successful appeals from the respective sides.
FMLLP have also lifted the transfer ban on T-Team and Perlis after they successfully completed their registration forms for the 2017 season. Failing to meet the original deadline was the reason for the original sanctions meted out on May 2.
Armed Forces FC (ATM), who were also punished, appealed against the decision as well, and are awaiting the verdict.
The easing of the sanctions, however, did not apply to east coast giants Kelantan, the other team punished with the original six-point deduction.
"T-Team and Perlis had appealed to the decision, and they did the necessary by completing the registration forms before May 15," an FMLLP statement said.

"Because of that initiative, FMLLP have decided to reduce their punishment. We hope more teams will start following the necessary procedures within the stipulated period."
The additional three points will see T-Team replace Kelantan in seventh place in the Malaysia Super League (MSL).
In the second-tier Premier League, Perlis boosted their chances of survival with the priceless three points as they aim to lift themselves off the foot of the table.
Penang, meanwhile, gained a boost for survival in the MSL following two goals from new arrival Sanna Nyassi, in the 2-2 draw against Kelantan on Wednesday.
Nyassi, who plied most of his career in the United States, replaces Australian Diogo Ferreira.
Interestingly, the 28-year-old had trained with Kelantan before this as a possible replacement to the departed Mohammad Ghaddar. But he changed his mind at the last moment to join Zainal Abidin Hassan's fight for survival.
But Penang still have of plenty of work to do, if are to repeat the heroics of beating the drop on the final day of the MSL as they did last year.
Rooted in bottom place, Zainal's strugglers are five points adrift of safety, with only six points on the board.
They will have just over a month to bring in more reinforcements before making the journey down south to face MSL leaders Johor Darul Ta'zim on July 1.
The league takes a break until then to make way for international action and the fasting month of Ramadan.
