RB Leipzig have signed 18-year-old defender Ibrahima Konate from French Ligue 2 side Sochaux-Montbeliard.
Konate, a France youth international, has signed a deal until 2022, Leipzig announced on their official website.
"We have watched Ibrahima Konate for some time," sporting director Ralf Rangnick said.

Konate, who has made 13 appearances for Sochaux-Montbeliard, joins Leipzig as they continue preparations for their first-ever Champions League campaign.
