Teenage midfielder Dan Crowley has left Arsenal to join Willem II on a three-year deal, the Dutch club have confirmed.
Crowley, who was often compared to Jack Wilshere because of his similar stature and playing style, had one year left on his Arsenal contract but has chosen to return permanently to the Eredivisie after spending last season on loan at Go Ahead Eagles.

The 19-year-old is the latest Arsenal youngster to opt for a move abroad after winger Chris Willock signed for Benfica and striker Kaylen Hinds joined Wolfsburg.
Crowley had been tipped for a prominent Arsenal career after joining from Aston Villa in 2014 but never played for the first team.
The youngster also had loan spells at Barnsley and Oxford United.
