Orlando City made a number of squad announcements on Tuesday, most notably that the club has declined the options on both Giles Barnes and Antonio Nocerino.
Some more players that won't be on Orlando's team next year include Hadji Barry, midfielders Servando Carrasco and Dillon Powers, defenders Seb Hines and Conor Donovan and goalkeeper Josh Saunders.
Another high-profile player, former AC Milan and Brazil star Kaka, won't be with the team in 2018 either, after he announced the 2017 season would be his last on Oct. 11.
The club did exercise options on Cyle Larin, Dom Dwyer and Carlos Rivas, midfielders Cristian Higuita and Tony Rocha, as well as defenders Rafael Ramos and Tommy Redding and goalkeeper Earl Edwards, Jr.
Players who will remain with the club because their existing contracts run past 2018 include goalkeepers Joe Bendik and Mason Stajduhar, defenders Scott Sutter, Jonathan Spector, Jose Aja, Donny Toia and midfielders Will Johnson, Yoshimar Yotun, Richie Laryea and Pierre Da Silva.
