Everton midfielder Mo Besic has joined Middlesbrough on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 25-year-old has been at Goodison Park since 2014, making 56 appearances for the Toffees in that time.
However, Besic has found opportunities restricted this season and is now linking up with Tony Pulis' side for the rest of the campaign.
"Everton midfielder Mo Besic has joined the club on loan,'' said a statement on the club's website.
"The Bosnian international completed his move late on deadline day evening, arriving on Teesside with an hour to spare before the transfer window closed.''
Martin Cranie has also dropped down from the Premier League to join Boro, with the versatile defender leaving Huddersfield in a permanent deal.
Town boss David Wagner said: "Martin was a big part of the squad during the promotion winning season and this is a good opportunity for him to go and play regular football.
"Martin is a great guy and we would like to thank him for all his hard-work at the club and we wish him well for the future.''
