Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso will miss much of the season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in a 3-1 victory over Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.
Tolisso, a World Cup winner with France, also tore the meniscus in the knee after he scored the equaliser for Bayern and will undergo surgery on Sunday.
Bayern will also be without defender Rafinha for several weeks after he tore a ligament in his left ankle.
Unfortunately, we can confirm that @CorentinTolisso has suffered an ACL tear and is set for several months out 😢@R13_official also suffered ankle ligament damage and is out for a number of weeks 😕
