Germany defender Jerome Boateng will not face France in the UEFA Nations League on Tuesday after suffering a calf problem.
Bayern Munich's Boateng picked up the injury as Germany slumped to a 3-0 defeat to Netherlands on Saturday.
The 30-year-old has now returned to Munich, and in a statement Bayern noted that national boss Joachim Low had opted not to substitute him in Amsterdam.

"After suffering a calf injury, Jerome Boateng had to leave the Germany squad early on Sunday," the statement said.
"He picked up the injury during the defeat against Netherlands in Amsterdam on Saturday evening, where Boateng played the full 90 minutes. Low chose not to make a substitution."
Bundesliga champions Bayern, who have lost their last two games and fallen to sixth in the table, travel to Wolfsburg on Saturday.
