Sources: Man United monitoring Frankfurt's Haller

Manchester United are monitoring Eintracht Frankfurt striker Sebastien Haller, sources have told ESPN FC.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is ready to sign a centre forward if Romelu Lukaku joins Inter Milan.

And while United are not actively looking to sell Lukaku but the Belgian has emerged as a top target for new Inter manager Antonio Conte along with Roma forward Edin Dzeko.

- When are the Premier League fixtures published?
- When does the new Premier League season start?
- When does the transfer window close?

Lukaku would cost the Serie A side £80 million and if they stump up the cash United will look to sign a replacement for a player who has scored 42 goals since arriving from Everton two years ago.

Haller, 24, scored 15 goals in 23 league starts last season to help Frankfurt finish seventh in the Bundesliga table and earn a place in the Europa League.

The former France Under-21 international has had spells at Auxerre and FC Utrecht and has been linked with moves to Everton and Norwich City in the past.

He was watched by United scouts during Frankfurt's run to the Europa League semifinals which was eventually ended by Chelsea.

Meanwhile, the German side announced on Tuesday they have sold Serbia striker Luka Jovic to Real Madrid. The 21-year-old has signed a six-year deal at the Bernabeu after scoring 27 goals in 48 games last season, including two against Chelsea.
