National League
Arizona Diamondbacks: Taijuan Walker delivers his breakout season. Once considered one of baseball's best prospects, Walker has yet to live up to that potential. His ceiling is still high, and he has made two adjustments since joining the D-backs: He turned his cutter into a slider and added a little turn to keep him on line to the plate better. His makeup and character are exceptional and his pitching is about to be too. -- Jim Bowden
Atlanta Braves: Matt Kemp leads the NL in home runs. Kemp is coming off a 35-homer season split between San Diego and Atlanta, two pitchers' parks. He hit 21 home runs on the road and the feeling is the new stadium for the Braves will be a little more hitter-friendly than Turner Field -- the power alleys are five feet shorter in left-center and 15 feet shorter in right-center. -- David Schoenfield
Chicago Cubs: The offense will put up American League run-scoring numbers. With the return of Kyle Schwarber and the growth of their young core, getting close to 900 runs isn't completely out of the question. -- Jesse Rogers
