The Los Angeles Dodgers are calling up infielder Gavin Lux, the franchise's top prospect, manager Dave Roberts said after Sunday's game.
Lux, 21, will be added to the active roster ahead of Monday's game against Colorado and start at second base.
In July, ESPN's Keith Law ranked Lux as the No. 5 prospect in all of baseball, just behind Bo Bichette, whom the Blue Jays called up over a month ago.
Lux started the season at Double-A Tulsa before being promoted to Triple-A Oklahoma City, where he hit .392 with 13 homers and 39 RBIs in 49 games.
