Nearly a decade after a swarm of midges threw Joba Chamberlain off his game in Cleveland, Chamberlain is still feeling their bite.
When midges attacked Indians pitcher Carlos Carrasco at Progressive Field on Wednesday night, Chamberlain chimed in with his firsthand knowledge of the situation.

After the game, Carrasco tweeted at Chamberlain -- who played for Cleveland earlier this season -- to let him know that he now understands what he went through that night with the New York Yankees in 2007. It didn't take long for Chamberlain to respond.

In case you've forgotten: Chamberlain, who was a dominant rookie reliever for the Yankees in '07, came on in the eighth inning with a 1-0 lead in Game 2 of the American League Division Series. Then the bugs swarmed. Cleveland tied the score when Chamberlain threw a wild pitch and the Yankees went on to lose in 11 innings, eventually losing the series.
Luckily for Carrasco, the season wasn't on the line Wednesday night.
