Sources: Robbie Lawler vs. Mike Perry fight booked for UFC 255

The UFC has booked Robbie Lawler vs. Mike Perry on Nov. 21, sources told ESPN.

The welterweight bout will take place at UFC 255, but it's unclear at this time whether it will be on the main card or the prelims. The event will likely take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, though the promotion has yet to make that official.

The 38-year-old Lawler (28-15, 1 NC), a former UFC welterweight champion, has lost his past four fights. Most recently, he lost a unanimous decision to Neil Magny in August.

Perry (14-6) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Mickey Gall in June. Perry made headlines that night not only for his win but due to the fact that his lone corner person was his girlfriend, who had no prior martial arts experience.

Two weeks after the win over Gall, Perry was caught on camera getting into a physical altercation at a restaurant in Texas and yelling racial slurs.

Perry was not arrested or charged with a crime, but the UFC said he apologized for the incident and "committed to immediately seek professional treatment, including substance and behavioral counseling," according to a statement issued by the promotion.

In early July, the UFC said it would not be offering Perry his next bout until further notice and that Perry and his team "agreed to evaluate next steps for Perry following the completion of his treatment program," the statement read.

According to sources, Perry completed a 30-day "intensive" anger management program.

The event will be headlined by male and female flyweight title fights: Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Cody Garbrandt and Valentina Shevchenko vs. Jennifer Maia.
