Royce White works out for Kings

The Sacramento Kings are likely to sign free-agent forward Royce White to a 10-day contract, according to a USA Today report.

The newspaper reported that the Kings have worked out the 22-year-old who has battled anxiety disorder and has a fear of flying.

White was drafted 16th overall in the 2012 draft by the Houston Rockets and traded during the 2013 offseason to the Philadelphia 76ers. The Sixers released White in October after he averaged 5.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists in five preseason games with Philadelphia. He has not made an appearance in a regular season NBA game.
