Oklahoma City Thunder starting center Steven Adams returned Friday night against the San Antonio Spurs after missing the past three games.
Adams has been out with a bruise to his right calf. Rookie Dakari Johnson has been starting in Adams' place.
Donovan told reporters that Adams will not have a minutes restriction. How much Adams plays will be determined by "how he feels," the coach said.
Adams is averaging 12.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.5 steals, 1.3 blocks and 1.2 assists in 11 games this season.
The Thunder (7-7) have won three straight games.
