San Antonio Spurs forward LaMarcus Aldridge is questionable for Thursday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder with a left knee contusion, the team announced.
Aldridge left the Spurs' 116-106 loss to the Washington Wizards on Tuesday night, the latest blow in a season that has included Kawhi Leonard being limited to nine games with a nagging quadriceps injury. Aldridge is the biggest reason San Antonio's season hasn't been derailed by Leonard's absence -- and a tough schedule ahead makes the Aldridge's status worth watching.
Aldridge had a game-high 13 points when he limped off late in the second quarter. He is averaging 23.2 points and 8.4 rebounds this season and was an All-Star for the sixth time in his career.
The Spurs announced Wednesday that Leonard is out against the Thunder.
