Marcus Morris joins Clips in bubble; brother Markieff to join Lakers later Tuesday

Marcus Morris Sr. joined the LA Clippers' practice and Los Angeles Lakers forward Markieff Morris is expected to arrive in Florida on Tuesday.

The Morris twins did not travel to the NBA bubble in Orlando with their respective teams. The Clippers have been short-handed in Orlando and having Marcus Morris back helps considerably, especially after Montrezl Harrell left the NBA campus to tend to a family emergency.

"It's great," Clippers coach Doc Rivers told The Undefeated's Marc Spears. "... Much better, obviously missing hurts, but now we get to have practices with him instead of throwing him out on the floor. I think this will help in a big way."

Marcus Morris told Spears that his brother will be joining the Lakers soon.

Markieff Morris was scheduled to arrive in Orlando later in the day and must clear the quarantine process.

"Well, first we got to get him in and cleared. That's the biggest thing. And Markieff Morris has cleared the protocol in L.A. He's en route now to join our team," coach Frank Vogel said.

"And once he arrives, I don't know the exact -- I believe the protocol is he's got to clear two negative tests and quarantine for, I believe, 48 hours -- 36 to 48 hours. So it will be a couple days before he arrives that we'll be able to see him on the court. And then, obviously, we're going to be smart about building him up at the right pace. We don't want him to be injured. He's obviously been out and not been with the team for a while, so we'll just take it day by day and be intelligent with it."
