Chiefs Eric Berry, Spencer Ware participate in Wednesday practice

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Safety Eric Berry and running back Spencer Ware were among the participants Wednesday as the Kansas City Chiefs began practice for Sunday's AFC Championship Game.

Berry was listed on the Chiefs' practice report as being a full practice participant, a positive sign for his availability on Sunday. Ware was listed as a limited participant, as was guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, who was activated this week off the injured reserve list.

Berry missed the season's first 13 games, played in two and then was out for the past two because of a sore heel, a problem that surfaced for him in training camp.

"Right now he feels pretty good and we'll see how he feels at practice and during practice,'' coach Andy Reid said before the Chiefs practiced.

Ware hasn't played since Week 14 because of a sore hamstring. He was fourth on the Chiefs in rushing during the regular season with 246 yards.

Dorian O'Daniel, a backup linebacker and special-teams player, was the only Chief who didn't practice. He is listed on the injury report with an ankle injury.
