Packers' Davante Adams catches 40-yard TD pass to pad lead on Seahawks

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Davante Adams beat Tre Flowers twice on one play.

First, the Green Bay Packers receiver ran a post-corner route that had the Seattle Seahawks cornerback turned around.

Then, after Adams caught the ball at the 20, he cut inside to outrun Flowers again for a 40-yard touchdown on the Packers' opening drive for the second half for a 28-10 lead in an NFC divisional playoff game on Sunday at Lambeau Field.

It was Adams' second touchdown of the game and put him over the 100-yard receiving mark for the game. He's the eighth Packers player with at least 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns in a playoff game, according to ESPN Stats & Information. Including the playoffs, Adams has nine games with multiple receiving touchdowns since the start of the 2016 season. The only player with more in that span is Antonio Brown (with 10).
