Forwards Chris Stewart, Alex Burrows, Jussi Jokinen and defenseman Johnny Oduya were among the players placed on waivers Sunday. The Minnesota Wild made the move with Stewart, the Ottawa Senators with Oduya and Burrows and the Columbus Blue Jackets with Jokinen.
The 30-year-old Stewart has nine goals and four assists this season and 318 points in his career.
Burrows, 36, is currently serving a 10-game suspension kneeing the Devils' Taylor Hall. He has three goals and five assists and 403 points in his career.
Jokinen, 34, has one goal and six assists this season and 553 points in his career.
Oduya, 36, has four goals and four assists this season and 190 points in his career.
NHL teams can claim the players off waivers until noon Monday, three hours before the league's trade deadline.
