Reserves: 14. Reuben Cotter 15. Tom Gilbert 16. Shane Wright 17. Gavin Cooper 18. Corey Jensen 19. Peter Hola 20. Jason Taumalolo 21. Tom Opacic

Result: The Warriors were much improved as they took on the Cowboys in Gosford. An early ankle injury to Cowboys fullback Valentine Holmes limited his input. In a see-sawing game, the teams took turns at scoring tries, with defensive efforts which would have disappointed both coaches. Late in the second half the Warriors broke the trend, scoring back-to-back tries before going on to a well-deserved victory.

Resultt: The Panthers have been overwhelmed by a fast-finishing Eels side, squandering a 10-0 half-time lead at Bankwest Stadium. The Panthers were brilliant in the first half and looked to be holding on through most of the second, but fatigue set in after an almost endless onslaught of attacking raids. Coach Nathan Cleary was proud of their efforts, but said they need to work on maintaining intensity when leading.

South Sydney Rabbitohs vs. Gold Coast Titans, Bankwest Stadium, 3:00pm (AEST)

Rabbitohs: 1. Latrell Mitchell 2. Dane Gagai 3. Campbell Graham 4. James Roberts 5. Alex Johnston 6. Cody Walker 7. Adam Reynolds 8. Tevita Tatola 9. Damien Cook 10. Thomas Burgess 11. Jaydn Su'A 12. Ethan Lowe 13. Cameron Murray

Reserves: 14. Tanah Boyd 15. Keegan Hipgrave 16. Jaimin Jolliffe 17. Tyrone Peachey 18. Jarrod Wallace 19. Jai Whitbread 20. Beau Fermor 21. Tyrone Roberts

Verdict: Latrell Mitchell had his best game for the Rabbitohs as he set about tearing the Titans to shreds at Bankwest Stadium. The Titans put up a spirited fight, but were no match for the Bunnies backline where Cody Walker's return made a big difference in cohesion. Rabbitohs hookers Damien Cook took full advantage of the faster ruck speed to have the Titans on the back-foot for most of the game.

Result: The Knights haven't beaten the Storm in their last seven encounters and that trend was to continue on the Central Coast. With Cameron Smith masterly from dummy-half and first receiver the Storm had adapted to the new ruck rules and looked like a different team to the one that struggled two weeks ago. The Knights made way too many handling errors to contest in the first half and although they fought back after the break they couldn't catch Melbourne.

Result: The Tigers started the game well, taking an early lead, but the Raiders are a full 80 minute team and they ground their way back into the contest. This was a brutal clash with both teams fired up by scathing reviews from their coaches after losses last week. Jack Wighton was at his best for the Green Machine, scoring a try and having a hand in everything the Raiders did.

Reserves: 14. Sam Verrills 15. Isaac Liu 16. Nat Butcher 17. Lindsay Collins 18. Sitili Tupouniua 19. Mitchell Aubusson 20. Ryan Hall 21. Lachlan Lam

Result: James Tedesco was on fire in his return after a week off with illness, blitzing the defence to score a hat-trick and lead the Roosters to an emphatic victory over the Bulldogs. The Roosters came flying out of the gates touching down within two minutes, as they raced to a 24-0 lead at the halftime break. The Bulldogs had no answers for the Tricolours hammering attack, as they took advantage of a weak left edge. A late Kieran Foran try was little consolation for the flailing Canterbury side.

Reserves: 14. Connor Tracey 15. Braden Hamlin-Uele 16. Toby Rudolf 17. Scott Sorensen 18. Siosifa Talakai 19. Will Kennedy 20. Royce Hunt 21. Jackson Ferris

Result: The Dragons are on the board for 2020, after easing the intense pressure on coach Paul McGregor with a 30-16 victory on Sunday afternoon. Cronulla grabbed the first try of the afternoon but the Dragons would go into the break up 18-10 after Ben Hunt touched down on the stroke of halftime, the Queenslander looking far more at home at hooker after originally starting from the bench. But it was Matt Dufty who really shone for the Dragons, the fullback adding significant spark to a Dragons attack that had failed to score a try in each of their last two games. Wade Graham's 62nd minute try gave the Sharks a sniff of victory late and while they threatened to close the gap even further, the Dragons steadied and iced the victory on the siren with Mikaele Ravalawa's second four-pointer.
