Aki Seiuli, Joe Wheeler and Gareth Evans move from the bench to the starting team while Elliot Dixon and Daniel Lienert-Brown get a break from the starting lineup this week.

The Melbourne Rebels have made one change to their starting line-up with Mitch Inman recalled to the starting line-up after a shoulder injury to Sefa Naivalu against the Waratahs sidelined the winger. Inman will move to the centres with Tom English shifting to the wing.

UBET verdict: Last 5 away games the Rebels have conceded an average of 51 points, and the betting here would suggest they will be on the end of another hiding.

Team News

The Blues have named two changes to their side with Rieko Ioane moved to the bench with debutant TJ Faiane promoted to inside centre and George Moala shifted to centre. Tana Umaga's second change is at openside flanker, with Blake Gibson dropped and Murphy Taramai called up.

After an injury to Jermiane Ainsley last week, Richie Arnold has been given his first start in only his second game. Bill Meakes comes back into the squad after recovering from an ankle injury whilst Dane Haylett-Petty returns to fullback. On the bench and looking set to make their debuts this season are Anaru Rangi and Shambeckler Vui.

UBET verdict: The Blues are another short favourite who really look like winning this round. Force have only won once from last 10 trips away from home, and the side from Auckland starting to run into some good form should see them win easily.

Locks RG Snyman and Jason Jenkins also swap, as do loosehead, props Lizo Gqoboka and Pierre Schoeman.

UBET verdict: Bulls are another side who struggle away from home hence the big odds, but can be competitive. Average of 62 points between these 2 sides in last 7 games against each other, so there may be some value in the game totals.

The Hurricanes have made just one change to their line-up with Ricky Riccitelli named as Dane Coles replacement with the captain rested for the match due to a bruised knee suffered during the Hurricanes win over the Highlanders.

UBET verdict: Reds have lost 4 on the trot since round 1, have to travel back from Argentina, and take on the Hurricanes who have beaten them in 6 of the last 7 meetings. The betting says the Reds are going to struggle, and the money is also for the Hurricanes to win by at least 15 points.

UBET verdict: Bit more competitive than some of the other matches this round but although the Lions have really only been a force for the last 2 seasons, the Sharks always struggle to beat them away from home having won only twice in 7 years. The Lions need to win these matches to sure up the South African conference and should do so.

Waratahs ($3.50) v Crusaders ($1.30), Allianz Stadium, Sydney

Key stat (Opta Stats)

The spoils are split at four wins apiece between these clubs in their last eight meetings in New South Wales, with the average winning margin across those games coming in at just four points per game.

The Crusaders have won on their last four visits to Australia, the last time they enjoyed a longer streak was a club-best five straight wins from 1999 to 2000.

Line-ups

Waratahs: Cam Clark; Reece Robinson, Israel Folau, David Horowitz, Andrew Kellaway; Mack Mason, Jake Gordon; Jed Holloway, Michael Hooper (c), Ned Hanigan; Will Skelton, Dean Mumm; Sekope Kepu, Tolu Latu, Tom Roberston. Reserves: Damian Fitzpatrick, Paddy Ryan, David Lolohea, David McDuling, Michael Wells, Nick Phipps, Irae Simone, Taqele Naiyaravoro.

Crusaders: David Havili, Digby Ioane, Tim Bateman, Ryan Crotty, George Bridge, Mitchell Hunt, Mitchell Drummond, Whetu Douglas, Matt Todd, Jordan Taufua, Sam Whitelock (captain), Scott Barrett, Owen Franks, Codie Taylor, Joe Moody Reserves: Ben Funnell, Wyatt Crockett, Michael Alaalatoa, Luke Romano, Pete Samu, Bryn Hall, Marty McKenzie, Manasa Mataele.

Team news

The Waratahs have named a reshuffled side following last week's win over the Rebels with flyhalf Bernard Foley ruled out with ongoing concussion symptoms. This has seen debutant Mack Mason named in the No.10 jersey, with Israel Folau moved to outside centre and Cam Clark slotting into fullback. Rob Horne has also been sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Crusaders coach Scott Robertson has made four changes to his pack that starting against the Force last weekend. Joe Moody returns to the line-up to start at loosehead prop, with Wyatt Crockett covering on the bench. Scott Barrett, who had a successful outing at 6 last week, moves back into his more familiar position of lock alongside Sam Whitelock, with Luke Romano in the reserves. Jordan Taufua shifts to 6 and Whetu Douglas returns at Number 8.

UBET verdict: The Waratahs were the last Aussie team to beat the Crusaders, and that was back in 2015. They have also won 2 of the last 3 encounters when playing the Crusaders in Sydney, so that record must give them some hope. But the money is with the Kiwi side to finish up what may be a pretty ordinary round for the Australian teams.
