WNBA partners with Twitter to stream 10 games on social media platform

The WNBA will stream 10 games on Twitter this season, extending its partnership with the social media platform. WNBA games were first broadcast on Twitter in 2017.

"Twitter continues to be an integral part of the WNBA's media landscape, providing innovation on their platform during this unique season will elevate fan engagement to a whole new level," WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert said in a statement. "This continued partnership enables our passionate supporters and fans to connect directly to our game and to experience WNBA basketball from wherever they are."

The games on Twitter begin this week, starting Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET with Atlanta vs. Seattle. Connecticut vs. Chicago will also be shown on Twitter Friday at 7 p.m. ET.

WNBA games are also available this season on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, CBS Television Network, CBS Sports Network, NBA TV and WNBA League Pass, as well as select regional sports networks.

Here are the 10 games that will be available on Twitter:

Wednesday, Aug. 12: Atlanta Dream at Seattle Storm, 10 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 14: Connecticut Sun at Chicago Sky, 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 19: Phoenix Mercury at Los Angeles Sparks, 10 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 21: Los Angeles Sparks at Atlanta Dream, 7 p.m.

Sunday, Aug. 23: Atlanta Dream at Minnesota Lynx, 4 p.m.

Sunday, Aug. 30: Connecticut Sun at Washington Mystics, 4 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 3: Las Vegas Aces at Connecticut Sun, 8 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 4: Chicago Sky at Washington Mystics, 7 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 5: New York Liberty at Phoenix Mercury, 8 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 6: Dallas Wings at Washington Mystics, 4 p.m.
