Missouri Week 10 POWERADE baseball rankings

After games on Saturday, May 26

After a fun regular season, upset-filled district round and tightly played first few rounds of the postseason, we are down to the final four. Beginning this weekend, a quartet of teams in Classes 1-4 will vie for the coveted state crown. Liberty, ranked No. 22 in the POWERADE FAB 50, enters as the favorite in Class 4 while Westminster and its 24-game win streak appears poised to defend its Class 3 title.

Here are this week's rankings (last week's rankings in parentheses):

1. Liberty 27-3 (1)

Behind Spencer Schwandt's seven strikeouts, the Bluejays beat Rockhurst 4-2 and advanced to the Class 4 final four for the second straight year. They will face Rockwood Summit on Friday.

2. Westminster Christian (St. Louis) 27-3 (3)

Wildcats easily downed Mexico, 11-1, to move on to Class 3 semifinal round against Marshall on Friday. Win streak is now at 24 games.

3. Savannah 23-4 (6)

Savages are back in the Class 3 semifinals after beating Oak Grove 9-3. They will face Lutheran South on Friday.
