No. 22: Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE, Washington
2013 numbers: Seferian-Jenkins caught 36 passes for 450 yards and a team-high eight touchdowns.
Preseason ranking: No. 13.
Making the case for Seferian-Jenkins: To understand Seferian-Jenkins' talent and value to the Huskies, it's important to look past his receiving numbers, which were down compared to his first two seasons at Washington. The 6-foot-6, 276-pound specimen is an elite blocker and was an important part of teammate Bishop Sankey's 1,869-yard rushing season. Where Washington chose to utilize his receiving skills was in the red zone, where he caught eight touchdowns -- second nationally among tight ends. Despite being named to the All-Pac-12 second team, Seferian-Jenkins was honored as the John Mackey Award winner, given to the nation's top tight end. He is Mel Kiper Jr.'s top-ranked tight end prospect
in the upcoming NFL draft.
